As we reflect on the success of the 5th Annual Sierra Leone Independence Masquerade Ball Weekend, held on April 25, 2026, our hearts remain filled with gratitude. The memories, connections, and celebration of Sierra Leonean culture continue to inspire us, and we are thankful to everyone who helped make this milestone event a tremendous success.
From the very beginning of the weekend experience to its final moments, this celebration was a powerful reflection of what is possible when community, culture, and purpose come together.We extend our deepest appreciation to everyone who joined us for the exclusive Meet & Greet at the Sierra Leone Embassy, Washington DC, where we connected, shared stories, and celebrated our heritage in an intimate and meaningful way. To all who tuned in and supported the premiere of our documentary, “Sierra Leone @65: A Journey Through Time,” thank you for honoring our past while embracing the vision for our future.
